Privacy Policy

How we collect, use, and protect your information

Last updated: 28 August 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Fresh Juice Blender (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, stores, and shares personal information when you visit freshjuiceblender.co.nz (the "Site"), create an account, or purchase products from us. It applies wherever you live.

Who we are

Fresh Juice Blender operates the Site and sells portable blending products directly to customers. We operate from New Zealand and ship internationally. For privacy questions, contact us at [email protected].

Information we collect

Depending on how you use the Site, we may collect:

  • Account and contact details — name, email address, password (stored securely; we do not have access to your plaintext password), and optional profile information you choose to provide.
  • Order and delivery information — billing and shipping addresses, phone number if you provide it, order history, and communications about your order.
  • Payment information — payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card number; Stripe provides us with limited payment metadata needed to complete and support your transaction.
  • Technical and usage data — IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages viewed, and approximate location derived from IP. We use this for security, fraud prevention, to show prices in your local currency, and to improve the Site.
  • Cookies and similar technologies — see the “Cookies” section below.
  • Support and marketing interactions — messages you send to us (including via chat or email), and your marketing preferences where applicable.

How we use your information

We use personal information to:

  • Provide the Site, process orders, take payment, and arrange delivery;
  • Create and manage your account;
  • Communicate with you about orders, security, and (where permitted) marketing;
  • Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and illegal activity;
  • Comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests;
  • Analyse aggregate usage to improve our products and customer experience.

Legal basis

We collect and use personal information where it is necessary to perform our contract with you (for example, fulfilling an order), where we have a legitimate interest that is not overridden by your privacy rights (for example, securing the Site), or where we are required by law. Where consent is required (such as certain marketing communications), we will ask for it separately and you may withdraw consent at any time.

Sharing your information

We may share personal information with:

  • Stripe and other payment service providers, solely to process payments and related reconciliation;
  • Shipping and logistics partners, to deliver your order;
  • Cloud hosting, email, analytics, and customer-support tools that help us operate the Site — bound by contractual obligations to protect your data;
  • Professional advisers or authorities where required for legal, audit, or security reasons.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

International transfers

We and our service providers may process your data in countries other than the one you live in. Where this occurs, we take steps that are reasonable in the circumstances to ensure your information receives a comparable level of protection (for example, through contractual safeguards).

Analytics

We use privacy-friendly analytics (Plausible) to understand aggregate traffic to the Site. Plausible is configured to minimise personal data collection; see Plausible’s privacy policy for how their product handles data.

Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for the Site to function (for example, cart and session cookies), and where applicable for preferences, analytics, or marketing. You can control non-essential cookies through your browser settings; blocking some cookies may limit Site functionality.

Retention

We retain personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described above, including legal, tax, and accounting requirements. Order records are typically kept for at least seven years where required by law; marketing data is retained until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, subject to applicable exceptions.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and organisational measures designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission over the Internet is completely secure; we encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your account.

Your rights

You may ask us to:

  • Give you access to the personal information we hold about you;
  • Correct information that is wrong or out of date;
  • Delete your information, or stop using it in a particular way.

To exercise these rights, email [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity before responding, and we will tell you if a legal obligation means we have to keep something.

Nothing in this policy limits or excludes the data-protection rights you have under the law of the country you live in. Where those rights give you more than this policy does, those rights apply. You can also complain to the data protection or privacy authority in your own country.

Children

The Site is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy where permitted by law.
